As the son of a financial advisor, the finance industry has always been a part of my life. My father, who founded Owens Financial Group, would come home from work with stories about the people he’d met, the problems he helped them solve, and the goals he helped them to reach. Those stories always fascinated me, and I knew I wanted to help others solve their financial problems the way my dad did.
I attended Shorter University, right here in Rome, GA, and majored in Economics with a minor in Legal Studies. My education only further cemented my love for solving financial riddles, and educating others on how the economy impacts their financial plans. I graduated in 2013, received my Series 7, 66, and 24 securities registrations, and have continued working in the financial industry for the last 8 years.
I am committed to helping my clients work out whatever problems stand between them and their financial goals. I take my role of educating and guiding my clients along their financial journey seriously, but my favorite part of the job is getting to know my clients. I want to get to know you, your story, how you got to where you are, what your goals are, and why they matter to you. I feel I can serve every client better on a professional level by understanding them on a personal level first.
I’ve been a resident of Rome, GA, my entire life. My family has deep roots here, and I’m proud to call this place home. My wife is a Rome native too, and we couldn’t imagine raising our two beautiful daughters anywhere else. My family is the most important thing to me, and I love spending time with them—especially in the outdoors.
My commitment to my clients is built on a desire to serve and help them reach their goals. I celebrate every success my clients have, and I want every last person I work with to be successful.
